Train: The nearest overground station is London Euston. Orchidya Flower School is a 10 minute walk south from the station.

Tube: The nearest tube stations are Goodge Street & Tottenham Court Road (Northern Line) and Russell Square (Piccadilly Line). Orchidya is more or less equidistant from these three stops.

Driving: Should you wish to arrive by car, there is parking on Store Street which is £11.40 for 2 hours (maximum stay). For other parking options try http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/

Taxi: the Orchidya Flower School is easily accessible by taxi.

Our office is open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Our school is open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday unless otherwise stated with the exception of timetabled evening classes.

Many of London’s best florists offer workshops and classes to the novice florist. You must first decide on what you wish to gain from the experience – wether it is to just test the water, build team relationships, have some fun or begin a foundation of a new career. Research the tutors and check out any reviews left by previous students. You’ll find many places that will teach you but we believe only Orchidya will teach you correctly.

In short, no. Our classes as designed as an introduction to floristry and planting and a fun experience generally, providing a relaxed and informative environment to first try your hand before committing to a full-time course.

Payment should be made in full when booking a course on our website or over the phone.

If you need to cancel your class, please contact us immediately. Classes cancelled no later than one month before the class start date will be entitled to a full refund. Classes cancelled less than a month before the start date are not entitled to a refund, however you may be able to use the class fee as credit towards a future class. This will be subject to availability and to our discretion.

If you are unable to attend a pre-booked class, you may be able to defer to another date, however as with cancellations, this will be subject to availability, and at our sole discretion.

Most international students can attend any class on a normal tourist visa, but should ensure this is in place prior to booking. If you do not hold a UK / EU / EEA passport, you may require a visa that allows you entry to the United Kingdom in order to take one of our classes.

Orchidya, the parent company of the Orchidya Flower School is experienced in creating for events in and around London.

Absolutely! Contact us with your requirements (head count, date/time) and we will be happy to arrange a customised class for your group wether for a team building exercise or a Christmas experience.

Just yourself. All necessary materials and equipment will be provided to you on the day.

Whatever you are comfortable in. Sensible non-slip shoes should be worn too. We suggest bringing warmer layers as a florists environment is not a warm one.You will be provided with an apron to protect your clothes when working with flowers and plants.

For full day classes there is a break for lunch for approximately 1 hour. There are some wonderful eateries on Store Street and the adjacent Tottenham Court Road, however the Orchidya Flower School does not itself provide lunch.

Attendees are allowed to photograph their own work and the work of others provided that their permission has been given. We request however that classes are no recorded.

The Orchidya flower School is situated beneath Orchidya – the flower shop. Class attendees are entitled to a 10% discount off of all flowers, bouquets and plants when purchased on the day of the class.
